Dried Beans

This is the basic method for preparing any dried beans, legume, etc.

Directions

  1. Rinse in a colander until water runs clear
  2. Soak overnight in 4 C (1L) of water for every 2 C (1LB or 450gr) of dry beans
  3. Cook at a simmer in 8 C (2L) of water for 30-45min
    • Alternatively: simmer beans in whatever broth/soup for same time.
